About this event

In the time of pandemic we are suddenly more connected and further apart.

How do we live with the virus, with all it's devastation and potential?

Poems, podcasts and essays from around the world will act as provocations for walking with and thinking thorugh this time, with/in an online community through a monthly zoom call.

Before you sign up, please note:

A MONTHLY creative workshop series exploring resistance and resilience through reading, walking and talking

To keep us connected in and through place this workshop is for people in the ALICE SPRINGS area/on ARRERNTE land

This practice informs and is informed by my PhD research practice. I will be writing reflectively about my experiences hosting this group as part of my praxis lead research. No individual details will be shared.

Readings will be posted on a Saturday , with practice provocations the following week.

A zoom call will be on Saturday a fortnight later from 2-4pm

The following fortnight another lot of readings will be sent out.

The reading group will run for 6 months total starting April 11th 2020

It is free for unwaged folks and has a contribution to costs for waged folks. As even the paid rate is super super cheap, and does not cover wages I won't be offering individual monthly fees or refunds if you miss a call. Registrations will close on the 10th of April.
