River Skins documents clothing discarded in the dry sand bed of the Todd River and Spencer Hill.

The clothing artefacts are like second skins cast off along a journey and become enmeshed with the earth layering presence into place.

The photo media exhibition by Canberra based artist Alexandra Gillespie features new writing, Sheddings, by performance maker, writer and long-time resident of Alice Springs Dani Powell.
