In 2012, Dave won the Lofty Art prize in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the Alice Springs creative community for 22 years.

The LOFTY award is unlike other art awards; it is awarded to an individual acknowledging their contribution to community. The LOFTY recognises those who play a role in the ‘ever evolving creative culture’ of Central Australia. The LOFTY was named in honour of Pam Lofts, founder of Watch This SPACE.

In recognition of his award Watch this Space has offered Dave a free exhibition.

Come and see Verisimilitude, a curated exhibition of haunted, melodic and abject images and instagram photos, or take part in the weird photography workshops; or listen to some impromptu storytelling by the Dirty Word. Full program details are below.
