Beyond Conversation

For the last two years, two artists and a writer have been driving to places around Alice Springs to make work ‘back to back, looking out’.

Working out bush they find a collective strength similar to that found in a shared studio, and in addition the vastness of being alive together in open country.

As artists they see things differently from each other: put their work side by side and there is an extension of vision – meanings multiply.

This exhibition explores companionship as a hidden element of creative work.
