In collaboration with WTS, Spinifex Skateboards is hosting an art auction to raise money for their First Nations Skate Tour!

There will be affordable artwork from local and interstate artists for you to bid on, skateboarding demonstrations and a live performance from Ltyentye Apurte's very own South East Desert Metal.

Spinifex Skateboards is the product of Nicky Hayes and his passion for youth, community and skating. He has big ideas of where Spinifex Skatboards can go and what it can do for young people in remote communities, especially his home of Lytentye Apurte, Santa Teresa. One of them is interstate trips for young boys AND GIRLS who have the desire to try something new, like skating. Hence, Spinifex Skateboards: First Nations Skate Tour! And this is why we are inviting you to come along...

So far we have raised approximately $10,000 through a GoFundMe campaign and we would like to take the time to say thank you to all those who have so far contributed. However...we're still $5,000 short! (Donate here)

So come along, buy some great affordable art and sleep with a smile on your face knowing you've contributed to a very good cause. Sounds like a great Friday evening to me!
