5. Melbourne to Adelaide is a boring drive, if I had more time I wish we could’ve gone the coastal route
6. Chris and me were both feeling really depresso and found this day the hardest
7. Malvin Beach is a great swimming spot
8. It was hot and I was already sunburnt
9. Our host in Malvin Beach was a lovely big talker who wanted to discuss the big issues in the world (Trump, Musk, etc)
10. I’m really good at getting up super early for big drives
11. Adelaide to Coober Pedy drive was flat grey brown and blue
12. Mostly everything was shut in CP, I’m sad we didn’t get to go to the Big Winch 360 on Italian Club Rd.
13. Great steak at the Coober Pedy Outback Bar and Grill with Pizza spot next to the motel.
14. I am way too claustrophobic to live in an underground house, but maybe that’s the future for our warming planet (temperature control)

17. CP to Alice is a beautiful drive
18. My friend told me about a roadhouse with heaps of emus 2hrs south of Alice

20. There were lots of emus and it was exactly 2hrs south of Alice

22. Went for a swim at Emily Gap with Chris and Rachel
23. Apparently there’s lots of gossip in Alice
24. I always find it hard working out a routine in a new place

28. The nocturnal house at desert parks was really weird

37. The drive to Ross River Resort is so beautiful yet scary, there’s lots of cows on the road and it is a windy road
38. The presentations at the ranger camp were special
39. It was so interesting hearing about how Indigenous rangers look after their country
40. And how they have to manage the issues thrust upon them by governments (buffel grass, heavy hoofed animals, wild cats, etc. etc. etc.)
41. The second day there were presentations from Parks NT, teaching TO’s, I thought it’d be the other way around
42. Government priorities: Life > Property > Environment

46. I go to Telegraph Station to film the river flowing on my super 8
